Our Sustainability Team
As clients consider how best to deliver sustainable buildings, that surpass building regulations, we established an in-house Sustainability Team led by our Associate Director and CIBSE Low Carbon Consultant, Matthew Pickford.
The team will take the lead in delivering BREEAM assessments, LZC reports, energy strategies, feasibility studies and sustainability reports to support planning applications. The team includes Building Physicists and Building Energy Modellers who advise on ventilation strategies and energy demand/consumption for Building Regulations Part L compliance and provide M&E design support.
David Stafford, S I Sealy Director commented: “Increasingly clients are looking for sustainable buildings. We have been at the forefront of this advice by expanding our in-house skill base with five CIBSE Low Carbon Consultants. This in addition to delivering projects such as the BREEAM “Outstanding” £120million new Headquarters for The Co-Operative Group; and the BREEAM “Excellent” Think Low Carbon Centre for Barnsley College, which provides low carbon training for construction professionals and contractors. It was therefore a natural step for us to establish a Sustainability Team.”
