Royal Liverpool University Hospital, Duncan Building Specialist Laboratories

Under our Framework Agreement with The Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospital, we recently upgraded and refurbished two independent Containment Level 3 Laboratories together with a Tropical Microbiology Laboratory and Diagnostic Virology Laboratory in the Duncan Building.

Each Laboratory includes Class 1 Tri –pass Safety Cabinets and associated Testing facilities, as well as ancillary freezer, storage, darkroom, offices and write-up areas. In addition, we have designed the specialist services for a new Keistra Production laboratory unit which is to be installed over 2 phases.

The project was on the 7th and 8th floors of an occupied building and took place in 6 phases to enable continued occupation of the floors during construction.
