The new Brachytherapy Facility located at The Christie provides three new state of the art Pulse Dose Rate machines, providing specialist cancer treatment using targeted radiation beams.
S I Sealy was originally appointed by the client in December 2010 through the SBS Framework, to develop the Mechanical & Electrical engineering concepts and designs to Stage D. In January 2012 we were novated across to the Procure 21+ Main Contractor Interserve (as a PSCP) to continue developing the M&E engineering proposals throughout RIBA detailed design stages E-F, to enable Interserve to achieve a GMP and enter into the construction contract.
S I Sealy provided full construction phase monitoring duties, and M&E cost control, effectively providing the client with ACE “Full Duties”.
