Cheshire Fire & Rescue, Winsford

Cheshire Fire & Rescue commissioned a BREEAM “Very Good” two-storey extension to their existing headquarters building in Winsford, to provide conferencing and dining facilities and office accommodation. The project also included the refurbishment of an existing area to form Europe’s Leading Facility – Command & Control Centre; and the refurbishment of the existing reception area.

S I Sealy provided the detailed designs for this project. As the building includes conference facilities, it was essential that the accommodation was flexible – allowing differing sizes of conference rooms. We designed the building services to provide the optimum flexibility.
