S I Sealy appoints two new team members to support project growth
We are pleased to announce that we have appointed two new starters: Martin Jørgensen, as a building services digital design engineer and Matthew Smith as an assistant electrical engineer. The appointments take our team of specialist building services engineers, digital design engineers, Revit technicians and building physics engineers to 28, one of the largest specialist teams in the region.
Martin joins S I Sealy from MagiCAD, a provider of specialist digital design software in the built environment, where he was a technical support engineer (MEP). He brings extensive experience in digital design engineering with knowledge and skills that include: Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Amtech, Relux, Dialux, IES Virtual Environment, electrical design, artificial lighting design, daylight modelling and Climate Based Daylight Modelling (CBDM). Martin is also a member of the CIBSE Society of Digital Engineering, helping to develop and produce guidance and digital content within the industry.
Matthew Smith joins S I Sealy from Kantey & Temple Consulting Engineers where he was an electrical design engineer. Matthew has extensive experience in the design, specification, project execution and management of projects in multiple sectors.
The appointments are a reflection of our recent growth across all sectors. We continue to deliver a large and diverse range of healthcare commissions, including supporting the NHS with several emergency projects in response to the Covid-19 pandemic and the £28m expansion scheme at the Royal Oldham Hospital, together with projects in other sectors such as major private commercial contracts, the £33m SAFE Bootle regeneration project, the Cooperative Groups ultra-low carbon “Green Store” concept and extra care projects with a combined development value of £60m.
