Decarbonisation Studies
Our in-house CIBSE Low Carbon Consultants working with our Building & Energy Modelling Team can provide detailed (to BREEAM standards) LZC Studies, including bespoke renewable energy reports and low carbon feasibility studies for multiple building types in all building sectors. In addition, our team utilises 3D energy modelling to assess various Low or Zero Carbon (LZC) technologies to determine the best and most efficient design solution for our client.

Our LZC feasibility study analyses the performance of the building at design Stage 2, quantifies the advantages and disadvantages of the Low or Zero Carbon Technologies and proposes a solution that achieves the best balance between capital expenditure and carbon savings. We also run Building Regulation Compliance Checks on the proposed technologies and advice on the implications for buildings undergoing BREEAM assessments.
Public Sector Decarbonisation Reports
The Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme provides grants for public sector bodies to fund heat decarbonisation and energy efficiency measures. Phases 1 and 2 of the Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme are now closed to applications. However, during the grant application period, we provided over 20 detailed low carbon feasibility studies for numerous public sector clients, funded via the “Public Sector Low Carbon Skills Fund”. We provided reports for the Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust, who were successful in receiving over £4m of PSDS grant funding to deliver carbon-saving projects.
