Bollin Primary School, Altrincham

S I Sealy provided full design of this primary school extension and refurbishment.  This project doubled the capacity of the school from a single form entry to a two form entry school.  The project required careful planning as the school was fully operational during the building works.  Once the extension was constructed, the pupils and staff were moved into the extension whilst the original building was renovated and refurbished.  The extension and refurbished school were mechanically ventilated; and rainwater harvesting was included.
