Promotions for four staff at S I Sealy
We have promoted four team members in recognition of their exceptional work, achievements, and their contributions to our Practice.
The individuals promoted are Ged Williams to Principal Electrical Engineer, Ben Rathbone to Senior Electrical Engineer, Saeed Amirahmadi to Mechanical Engineer and Simon Couling to Mechanical Engineer.
Ged joined S I Sealy in 2020 and has over 15 years’ experience in electrical design. He holds a number of industry memberships, including Incorporated Engineer with The Engineering Council, Member of The Institution of Engineering and Technology, Fellow of the Institute of Healthcare Engineering and Estates Managers and Licentiate Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers. Bringing extensive knowledge to technical problems, Ged has led our electrical engineering team on a number of large healthcare projects during the past year.
Ben joined S I Sealy in 2017 and has consistently demonstrated exceptional engineering skills and a desire to develop continually. Over the last five years, the Practice has supported Bens in achieving a first-class BEng Honours degree in Building Services and Sustainable Engineering from The University of Central Lancashire. He earned his Technician Membership of The Institution of Engineering and Technology shortly after.
Saeed joined S I Sealy in 2019, after completing his MEng Honours degree in Building Services Engineering and an MSc Honours in Mechanical Engineering. He has extensive experience in sustainability and building software and has supported our team on many low carbon projects, including the Stoke-on-Trent Housing Society heating replacement study and the Northwest Ambulance Service Blackpool Ambulance Hub.
Simon, who completed two summer placements with S I Sealy before joining permanently in 2020, holds a first-class MEng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Salford and is an Associate Member of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers. He has progressed quickly and has delivered many complex mechanical designs for a significant number of projects.
