S I Sealy supports Manchester Youth Zone Careers Day

As part of our partnership with Hive Projects and ongoing work with the North Manchester General Hospital Site Redevelopment Programme, we have committed to deliver a range of social value benefits in and around North Manchester. Our team joined Bruntwood, Morgan Sindall, and Vinci at Manchester Youth Zone ‘Mixed Bag (Have a Go)’ event to inform the future generation about careers in the built environment.

Manchester Youth Zone provides young people aged 8-19 years, as well as those with additional needs aged up to 25 years, the tools to raise and achieve their aspirations, develop their confidence, create friendships and empower them to fulfil their potential. This careers day exposed young people to various careers, some of which they had not known existed previously.  There were separate zones covering the built environment, healthcare, enterprise and digital, all with their own ‘have a go’ activities at each stall.

We look forward to continuing to support the community of North Manchester as the North Manchester General Hospital Redevelopment Programme progresses.
