Principal Engineer, Pola Kamel Celebrates Master’s Degree

A huge congratulations to our Principal Mechanical Engineer, Pola Kamel, who has recently earned his Master of Science Degree in Construction Project Management with BIM from Northumbria University. His achievement demonstrates his dedication to applying not only his practical experience in construction and design but also his academic skills to connect theory and practice.

During his studies, Pola focused on the innovative application of new BIM technologies in the construction industry through the digitalisation of value engineering across different construction phases, incorporating aspects such as time and cost.

Since joining our team earlier this year, Pola has already made significant contributions to our projects, leading efforts at Wythenshawe Hospital refurbishments, overseeing various schemes such as the new endoscopy department, maxillofacial department, and the hand therapies & plastic department, as well as the Water Meadow Mental Health Hospital.

Looking ahead, Pola is now pursuing future challenges, including a PhD proposal and using the demonstration program of an e-tool created in his dissertation to explore new opportunities and challenges within the construction industry involving BIM technologies.
