S I Sealy Promotes 3 Engineers

S I Sealy & Associates has announced three promotions. Chris Crookes is promoted to Electrical Technical Director; whilst Daniel Madden and Matthew Pickford are promoted to Associate Directors.

Chris Crookes, former Electrical Associate Director, has been with S I Sealy for over 14 years. Chris is currently leading the electrical design review of the medium term works at the Houses of Parliament, as well as acting as Project Director on the refurbishment of Keele University’s electrical infrastructure.

Daniel Madden, a mechanical design engineer with 12 years’ experience, has been with S I Sealy for 8 years. He has worked on a number of high-profile projects, including the innovative Think Low Carbon Centre at Barnsley College which enables students to study renewable energy technologies. He is also currently leading the mechanical design review of the medium term works at the Houses of Parliament.

Matthew Pickford, a mechanical design engineer, came to S I Sealy in 2000 for his year placement as part of his Building Services Engineering degree. S I Sealy was so impressed with him, that they sponsored him through his final year. Matthew’s clients include JD Sports and all their brands. He is also currently advising Sir Paul Smith on the extension to his head office in London.

Both Daniel and Matthew are Low Carbon Consultants and Matthew is also a Low Carbon Energy Assessor.

As part of our continuing desire to provide high quality engineering design as well as strategic advice to future-proof clients’ buildings, we are restructuring to increase the number of senior engineers we employ, whilst reducing the number of junior engineers. The promotions of Chris, Daniel and Matthew are part of this strategy.”
