Update: Charity Ride for The Christie – 13 September 2015
Two members of our team, Andrew Hough and Adam Counsell, are set to complete a 100 mile bike ride in order to raise money for one of our clients, The Christie. The long route heads into Northwich, taking in Delamere Forest and Nantwich before heading back through Middlewich to the Finish. The start and finish point will be Wythenshawe Park, Manchester.
The Christie is one of Europe’s leading cancer centres, treating over 40,000 patients a year. They are also an international leader in research, with world first breakthroughs for over 100 years.
The Christie was first established in 1901 through generous donations and fundraising has continued to support vital developments for more than a century. The charity helps to pay for cancer research, new facilities, high-tech equipment and extra patient services.
We wish Andrew and Adam the best of luck in this gruelling but rewarding ride!
UPDATE:
Sadly, Adam Councell broke his foot one week before the race and was unable to take part. Andrew Hough successfully completed the 100 miles bike race and is well on his way to raising £500 for The Christie.
