Company Director, Daniel Madden celebrates 20 years with S I Sealy
Today, we celebrate our Director Daniel Madden’s 20th anniversary with S I Sealy
Danny joined S I Sealy in 2004 as a Mechanical Design Engineer after working as a mobile service engineer servicing heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment. Since joining the practice, he achieved a First-Class Honours degree in Building Services Engineering, became a Chartered Engineer with the Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers, and shortly after became an accredited Low Carbon Consultant and member of the Institute of Healthcare Engineering & Estate Management (IHEEM).
His latest achievements include obtaining a distinction in a Master of Science Degree at The University of Manchester Alliance Manchester Business School (AMBS), becoming a Level 7 Chartered Manager with the Chartered Management Institute, and becoming a committee member of the CIBSE Northwest Region, taking on the challenge of being an Education and Careers Champion.
In recent years, Danny has focused mainly on public sector projects and has worked extensively in the Education and Healthcare Sectors. He led S I Sealy’s specialist off-site construction MEP design team, delivering education projects such as the Modular Batch B schools designed under the ESFA Primary Component Framework, including Pound Hill Junior School, Abbey Infant School, and Highcliffe Primary School.
He is also very well-respected in the healthcare sector, having managed some of our largest recent healthcare projects, including the new £28 million Hulton Building at The Royal Oldham Hospital and the £500 million New-Build Acute North Manchester General Hospital Masterplan.
David Stafford commented, “We are delighted to celebrate Danny’s invaluable input and memorable projects during his two decades at S I Sealy. His exceptional achievements are a true inspiration for the entire team and a shining example of his leadership within the Practice.”
