Congratulations to Dan Lowe
Mechanical Design Engineer Dan Lowe is celebrating being awarded a First Class Master of Engineering in Building Services Engineering following three years of part-time study. Dan has also been awarded the Lawrence Thistlewood prize, awarded by Merseyside and North Wales CIBSE for ‘Best Master of Engineering Student in Building Services Engineering’.
Dan has worked at S I Sealy for three years and the company has supported him in his study on the course at Liverpool John Moores University. Danny Madden, Director, commented: “We believe in supporting our staff in further education, and the benefits to both staff and the company are huge in terms of career development for staff and also bringing new skills and knowledge to the company. We would all like to congratulate Dan.”
Dan is particularly interested in providing technical mechanical designs for healthcare and laboratory environments. He has recently worked on projects at Wythenshawe Hospital Maternity Theatres and also University of Bristol’s new state of art Hybrid Theatre Open Heart Surgery Teaching Facility. Dan also has a key role in developing the businesses Digital Engineering Division which includes the integration of our new Magicad 3Ddesign and MEP calculation software for all BIM compliance projects.
