Muhammed Umar has joined our Sustainability division Net Zero UK as a Senior Building Physics and Sustainability Engineer in 2023. He brings extensive experience as an energy and sustainability engineer, having developed low-carbon strategies for various NHS hospitals, and has a strong track record of assisting numerous clients in their transition towards Net Zero carbon.

With a joint MSc in Smart Cities and Communities from Heriot-Watt, and Mechanical Engineering with Professional Focus in Energy Engineering from the University of Mons in Belgium, Muhammads’ knowledge and skills include: high energy performance envelopes, high-performance HVAC systems, building systems and fabric engineering, building modelling, energy efficiency optimisation and the implementation of renewable and low carbon technologies.
