Jubilee Day Surgery Centre, Countess of Chester Hospital

We provided the detailed building services engineering design for the major refurbishment and extension of the Jubilee Day Centre. This project increased the capacity of the day surgery accommodation. The project included: a new conventional operating theatre, recliner bays wards, trolley bay wards, stage one recovery rooms, changing room, offices and clean/dirty utilities.

The Day Centre, including three existing operating theatres, remained fully operational whilst the project was undertaken. As such we programmed the works over four phases to minimise the disruption to the patients and the staff.
