Flight Club, Cheltenham

Located in Cheltenham’s Brewery Quarter, this Flight Club is the ninth venue in the UK. With a capacity of 250, it offers nine dart playing areas, as well as a bar for drinks and food. Our team was responsible for the detailed design and site monitoring of the MEP installation and fit-out.

The electrical works included designing a mode lighting control system, fire and lighting control systems, data connections, small power, AV and sound systems, and coordinating the Heineken and Coke python routes. Given the venue’s unique requirements, the design employed CAT 6 structured cabling to handle high data volume, along with specialist oche wiring in the dart and game areas to support the darts vision system and high-speed cameras that track each dart’s location.

The mechanical design encompassed heating, cooling, ventilation, domestic water, and drainage services to create a fully functional venue. This also involved stripping out existing services and installing new ones. A unique challenge was involving the M&E front-of-house services in the design, allowing customers to visibly appreciate the installations.
