Woodheys Primary School, Sale

S I Sealy provided full design of this primary school extension and refurbishment.  This project doubled the capacity of the school from a single form entry to a two form entry school.  The project required careful planing as the school was fully operational during the building works.  The first phase involved extensive demolition and the provision of temporary classrooms.

Once the first phase was constructed, the pupils and staff were moved into the extension whilst the original building was renovated and refurbished.  The extension and refurbished school were mechanically ventilated and new sophisticated dali lighting controls were included throughout.
