Promotions for Seven Team Members
We have promoted seven team members in recognition of their exceptional work, achievements and contributions to S I Sealy.
Adrian Bill is promoted to Associate Engineer, Daniel Piercy to Principal Engineer, Martin Jorgensen to BIM Manager, Simon Couling, Saeed Amirahmadi and Simon Ward to Senior Engineer, and Liam Phillips to Engineer.
Adrian joined S I Sealy in 2008 as a Senior Engineer and has worked on some of our flagship projects, including the carbon negative £120m new Headquarters for The Co-operative Group and a range of projects for The Parliamentary Estates. In his new role, he will continue to work on a broad range of projects whilst mentoring other team members.
Daniel joined in 2021 and has over 14 years of experience in mechanical design. Alongside his Mechanical Building Services experience, Daniel is a Chartered Engineer and an APS Accredited Principal Designer. Bringing extensive knowledge of technical problems, Dan has led our team on the North Manchester General Hospital Expansion project.
Martin joined in 2020 as our building services digital design engineer. He has extensive knowledge and experience in digital design engineering, having joined S I Sealy from MagiCAD and being part of the CIBSE Society of Digital Engineering. As our BIM Manager, he will lead our digital design team and drive forward our ISO 19650 BIM process and digital engineering design process using MagiCAD.
Simon Couling joined S I Sealy in 2020 as an Assistant Mechanical Engineer and has progressed quickly through the company delivering many complex mechanical designs for a significant number of projects, including the all-electric Addenbrookes Surge Centre for Cambridge NHS Foundation Trust, which utilises a range of sustainable principles contributing to grid-wide decarbonisation.
Saeed joined S I Sealy in 2019 and has extensive experience in sustainability and mechanical design. This extensive knowledge has supported the team on many low carbon projects, such as the Stoke-on-Trent Housing Society heating replacement and Northwest Ambulance Service Blackpool Ambulance Hub.
Simon Ward joined S I Sealy in 2021. Originally from an installation background, he has developed exceptional engineering skills and progressed quickly through the Practice. He holds an NVQ Level 4 in design verification and is a Member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology.
Liam joined S I Sealy in 2018 after graduating from University, where he studied Petroleum and Mechanical Engineering. He became a member of the Institute of Healthcare Engineering & Estate Management (IHEEM) in 2021.
