S I Sealy appoints new Senior Electrical Engineer & Assistant Building Services Digital Design Engineer

We are pleased to announce that we have appointed two new starters: Ali Azizi, as Assistant Building Services Digital Design Engineer and Ged Williams, as Senior Electrical Engineer.

Ali has joined S I Sealy after completing his BEng (Hons) in Mechanical & Architectural Engineering at Northumbria University. Before joining the Practice permanently, Ali had completed an industrial year placement with us in 2018, working on multiple projects in healthcare, residential and educational sectors. Ali has been appointed to the new role of Assistant Building Services Digital Design Engineer and brings specialist skills in dynamic simulation, BIM, renewable energy, and low carbon design.

Ali achieved the CIBSE North East Award for Intuitive Learning and Outstanding Achievements whilst studying for his degree, along with being awarded the Ede & Ravenscroft Prize for Excellence in 2019 for the best performing student at an intermediate stage of his degree programme.

Ged has joined S I Sealy from Engie Buildings Ltd where he was a Senior Technical Manager Electrical Authorising Engineer. Ged brings over 15 years’ electrical building services experience to the Practice and is IEng registered with The Engineering Council, MIET registered with The Institution of Engineering and Technology, MIHEEM Institute of Healthcare Engineering and Estates Managers and MCIBSE registered with The Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers.

The appointments boost our workforce to 34 with the four latest appointments being within the last month. Our new appointments reflect our recent growth across all sectors, along with our company aim to invest in our digital design technology and expand our engineering capabilities.
