S I Sealy is first MEP Consultancy to achieve ISO 19650 Building Information Modelling
We are the first Building Services Engineering Consultancy in the UK to achieve certification to ISO 19650.
The ISO 19650 standard is an international standard for managing information over the whole life cycle of a built asset using building information modelling (BIM). It contains all the same principles and high-level requirements as BIM Level 2 and is closely aligned with the current UK 1192 standards.
This standard adds to our current ISO certifications of Quality Standard 9001, Environmental Standard 18001 and Health & Safety 14001.
Achieving certification to ISO 19650 demonstrates that our BIM policy, processes, systems and staff training are of the highest standard. This is supported by our use of BIM on recent projects such as the £35million refurbishment of Elizabeth Tower, which houses Big Ben; the £50million extra care schemes for Stoke City Council, the award-winning £13million refurbishment and extension to Newcastle High School for Girls, and the 6 schools being delivered under the Government’s ESFA school building framework.
